As with older character cottages, Chapel Cottage has Norfolk Winder stairs which are enclosed, steep, curved and narrow. They are uncarpeted, with rope banister & handrail. They are uncarpeted. There are many changes in level between the rooms and out into the garden and the height of some doorways, reflects the age of the cottage. The stairs leading to the master bedroom may not be suitable for older guests, younger children or those with limited mobility. Chapel Cottage does benefits from a second staircase which leads to the double bedroom & is more modern in design.
